I didn't know what forum this would go in so please move it if it's in the wrong forum.

I wrote a haiku and just want some feedback from you all. For those who don't know what an haiku is, it's a 3 line poem.

It's in your mind
Everywhere around you
There is no escape

I like poetry Some say i am good at it, personally i don't agree. I have only been published once lol.

I don't mind it, i think the idea/notion is strong however the thought of something being all around you or your own helplessness is becoming a sort of cliche. Having said that each poem is individual to the writer and more importantly the read but in my mind i have read too many on the same theme recently

I like most poetry aslong as it isnt made by naive depressed emo kids about crimson whatever, war and pain... This one i like though, it suits me like a glove!
