ive been searching all over this site to find a tutorial that would tell me how to create a collapsable menu like the one on this site but i have had no luck.
could someone please tell me how to do this or point me to a tutorial that would show me how?!

Take a look at this article. It will shed some light on how to show/hide divs with javascript.
