Hi, I've recently used Hash's Animation:Master and was disatisfied with it. I downloaded Cinema 4D and loved it. But I'm still debating whether to buy Cinema 4D or 3Ds Max. I know that when looking for a 3D modelling application I can pick two of three things:
Power
Price
Simplicity
Someone who has used both Cinema 4D and 3Ds Max would be very helpful right now!
Thanks,
-Revan
What to buy?

there is more and cheaper 3d software, so all depends what you're planning to do.

Blender is way to complicated. Takes hours to do basic stuff...
If you're looking for power, advanced features and extremely realistic renderer, then go with 3DSMax. If you want simplicity and low price for nice animations, go with C4D.
I use C4D for most of my projects, its easy and fast to use. But sometimes, you just need the power of 3DSmax to make some nice scenes.
But be sure to try both software first, download the demos. You need to be confortable with the interface and tools as well.

Check out: hexagon and Carrara 5,
Both together are still cheaper the C4D and 3DSMax,
They are way more intuitive : the learning curve isnt that steap you will get very addicted to there possiblities.
Hexagon = only modeler, Carrara = rendering, shading, UV mapping, Modeling, animations, and can even make scenes.
Check it out and get the trials: www.daz3d.com
