Hiya!
I'm really hoping someone can help me out with this issue, it's driving me absolutely insane! :) The problem is that during modeling 3ds Max (version 8) is randomly causing my system to reboot. There are no errors and no messages that come up, Windows just restarts and then goes through the disk check for not shutting down properly. I'm at a loss as to why this may be happening and what I could do to fix it. My machine is quite powerful and definitely should handle this application:
Windows XP Pro
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-core 4600+ processor (2.41 GHz)
2GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7950GT (driver version 6.14.0010.9371)
Is there possibly a system setting I may have to change, or something within max itself? Absolutely any help would be appreciated at this point. Thank you in advance!
