yeah make sure when developing design and well as client side coding that you use all major browsers and dont be like walmart right now and deny access to everone who doesnt use internet explorer. http://slashdot.org/...1/1359256.shtml

First one looks ok, lil messed up (i'm using Gran Paradiso/Firefox 3.0a1)

Second one is good, nice simple and attractive layout.

Other than the FF problems the layout seems ok, text is abit small maybe bump it up from 10px to 12px? Other than that good job on both layouts. Seconds best imo.

Nice clean layout, and I like the icons at the bottom. Did you create those? If so, very nice.

The only thing I would have to critique is the text. I noticed a lot of grammatical errors. I found myself already doubting the business after reading that paragraph for the entertainment site. Really pay attention to your text since a pretty design can't compensate for copy that people deem "unprofessional".

My thoughts exactly, the layouts are both nice, though the second one is a little brighter so I favor it personally.
