Hi there,

How you confirm that all Flash work will be authored in Flash 6+ (Flash MX, Flash MX 2004, Flash 8)?

Thanks,
Jon

Are you talking about publishing your fla's into swfs, or checking what version of flash a visitor has when they come to your site?

If your talking about developing and ensuring your publishing in a particular flash version, then select File>Publish Settings, click the Flash Tab and you'll see the dropdown to specify what version to publish in.

If your talking about making sure your visitors have the proper flash player installed in order to view your content, then get the Flash Player Detection Kit from adobe's website. Here is the link: Flash Player Detection Kit

It will actually detect and if needed prompt to install the proper player without ever leaving your site.

Hm don't really know if it's possible, but then again, why would you need to find out anyway?

There is a test going in our school today and the professor told us how can you recognize the flash website if it is made by FLA 8,mX, 6 etc.

If it is not possible to know what version of flash that a designers used what is the good answer anyway...

I hope you help me..
THanks

What an odd test... well, if I was going to answer, I would say it's not possible. But, I don't really know, so.. yeah.

Look at the page source code and read where the flash object is embedded into the page. In firefox browser View > Page Source

That doesn't always work. They could just be using the <ebmed.../> tag, which wouldn't specify the version.
