ive had flash for a while and i am comfortable with it. i have been wanting to learn how to do menus. i have done a handfull of the (great) tutorials here ( thanks all), but i cant get any of them to work. If i do a normal button and go to the hit, up down ect. and change color or something then all is okay but on the tuts with a slider or flyout our something. i go slow and do it exactly but my menu dosnt work. put the script in exaclty as they do , i am using F8. any suggestions. i am learning but i would like to actually make something.

Well it does make it hard for us to solve the problem if there isn't anything specific you need solved. If your menu does not work, it is most likely that you didn't follow it completely correctly, even though it may seem like it. But then there are possibilities that maybe there's a version conflict, or there was a mistake in the tutorial. Sorry, but as I said before, I can't really help you.
