Hi, nice forums here. =]

I was wondering if it possible to take a 3D image/animation from 3D Studio Max and export it to After Effects 7.0? I was hoping I could also (if it is possible to import into AE) enable 3D capabilties for it while inside AE and use cameras.

Thanks!

im no expert with AE by any means, but what i usually do is render the animation frame by frame and save them in a folder by themselves then import the folder into AE/premiere/whatever, this gives you more control ive found than rendering the animation as a movie file... so yes it is possible to export your max animation to AE. if thats what you meant?

as far as importing your actual .max model into AE, i think the answer is no. if he doesnt pop in and see this thread, ill try point tiago here for you when i next see him online, he will be able to give you a better answer.
