Hey,

I want to set up a dual screen..

I dont want to spend no more than £300 - £400 on 2 TFT screens (Both fairly big 17" or 19")

Now as I've said before I totally suck with hardware and computer parts..

I know that the monitor plugs into a card in the PC so do i need to purchase a new card and what do i do about the plugs themselves?

If anyone can help would be much appreciated

I am very retarded with this lol

Yep, you need 2 graphics cards and then you simply set up the displays in the Windows display area.

Cant you have one card with a VGA and DVI output?
I have a GeForce FX5200 at work, and I can run dual screen on it.

Yep, that works too if your card supports it. But by the wording of his question, it sounded like his PC has an onboard vid card, so that's why I was saying he'd need a second card.

Soldier - What kind of vid card is already installed on the box?
