http://www.dot-silver.co.uk/igallery/

iGallery was created for a tutorial that I've literally just submitted in the publishing area of p2l (So if it gets approved, it would take abut 2 weeks I think)

The design is created using XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS3. I've validated the doctype and CSS, they are both valid, and only one warning on the CSS which is kind of unavoidable unless I make the code longer. But works perfectly well so. So yea, a full on 100% CSS design. What do you think? and in about 1-2 weeks time you could make that too.

Javascript I wrote myself to make the images swap over, but if you don't have JS enabled, then the images will show for you anyway. And yes, you also learn that in the tutorial :)

Comments? Is it a good CSS only design?

I guess it could be a good CSS only design... but I think it's just too plain and the description doesn't seem to load for each pic until I load the next one :S

I definately agree with bug about the design being plain, other than that, not a bad image gallery.

I find the images slow at loading.

the code is good but you forget the design part
all I see is some images and text. Your work is very good, you could use some of your skills on the website, enchance it!

Just remember that ANY webstie can have a valid coding, don't limit yourself.

Well don't forget this was made for a (x)HTML, CSS and Javascript gallery tutorial. I wrote a tutorial on how to make this while making it.

@Bug: Not sure about that, it works ok for me

I could make a part 2 of the tutorial (It should hopefully be released tonight or tomorrow since it's in 26 or something for the pending approval queue) on adding in graphics for it.
