Hey guys,

Just made a kinda wordpress layout while i was bored. I was going for simple, easy to read and generally more professional rather than flashy. I don't really intend to do anything with it just wondering what you think.

thats the point...its simple because simple is good. The point off this site is the content and by making the site im trying to draw the users attention to the content but tbh i think you would personally prefer a layout like :-

sorry i just hate it when people are all like "oh the design isn't interesting" you know if you only go too websites for the layout thats just well a crap reason tbh. Cheers, the second one was originally going to be my blog template but my IR is on the fritz so i can't slice it, instead i got a nice clean template. changed the images and tweaked it about a bit 2 suit my purposes

Oh, I wasn't trying to say that it's the design that only makes me go to the website, but it is a big part of it.

see that makes no sense to me, why go back a hundred times when you can remember what it looks like. No one comes 2 p2l just to look at it, i think its more due to the fact that it has 25k tuts. It may just be because i tend to worry more about the code than the design, you are probably the other way round.

A design of a layout is a very big part of it. That first one I find too simple and very uninteresting. If you added more bits to it then it would be better, but reading white text on black background can hurt the eyes after a while, that's why "Chalk Boards" aren't black, they are more of a muddy greeny colour. If you get me. First thing that people look at is the layout, layout says a lot about the site and it's web master.

The second is better because it's more interesting.

Unless you're doing research for an assessment at school
