Well, my friend's son has a bit of an acne problem and he would like me to figure out a way to somehow "hide" the acne on his face. Any recommendations?

Try taking the color of his skin with the eyedropper tool, then zoom in and brush the color over the spots.

Well, there are several ways this could be accomplished. It all depends on how severe the acne problem is. I have found a tutorial that shows how to use the spot healing brush if you have photoshop CS2 Light Acne Tutorial

Also, I found this post on the BioRUST Forums
where someone asked the same question. There are several answers given on this page that should hopefully help you.

there is a "quicktool" built into photoshop for quickremoval of spots and stains and acne and souch if it isnt realy super bad. The "healing brush tool" or the sub tool "Spot healing brush tool". It works like the clone brush but does autofitting on the edges.
