Need something better on the content, like colors, or anything.

Try a different text color, something that make some contrast

Try using colors that are rarely used, like orange, brown, different ones of green or blue.
I love sites with mix them in all the site, make it look better

Just dont mix too many colours, eh? You dont want your website to look like a rainbow gradient ;)

Get a few that are compatible, but offer good contrast.

Another thing -- put some watermarks on some of your portfolio work. You have some full size stuff that anyone can steal.

I agree with the above replies ;)
I don't like the header, the person wich is in it doesn't fit into the rest of the style, and the menu is looking very primitive, i mean, the border around the navbar is fine, but the text with the black bg mouseover is really uggly. Make some metallic shiny buttons :D

I just have 2 main problems with the site. On the home page, I have a hard time reading the text in the menu bar. The green text kind of blends into the greyish-blue color of the buttons. The other problem I have is the menu buttons aren't consistent throughout the site. You have those box style buttons on the home page but you have the tab style buttons throughout the rest of it. But other than that, it looks like you're on the right track.

Your website has 3 XHTML validation errors so it's a bit worrying that you say it's fully validated...

You header looks pretty neat!! But maybe change the rollover for the links :)
