Hi, did any of you guys hear? Some hackers planted some extra code into the wordpress code, so so when you download it and install it there can be remote php attacks on your site. Also it installs extra stuff. Bad stuff... Watch out. They reckon it should only effect wp downloads in the last few days (from the 1st of march or around that...) so watch out.

Hmm...nothing on the wp website, and a quick google returned nothing. Where did you find this out from?

Hopefully they will release an update. Or, I think they already did.
Well, that sucks if that is what happened...

What sort of kicks do people get off doing something like that anyhow?

Nah, I'd say it would just say they did it to test for something more major...
Gotta remind some of the P2Lifeians of the time this site was hacked, eh? Same type of thing, I guess.
Lol... just reading the original post of it all... funny

Wow, that's very interesting and wouldn't be surprised. Plus why would idiots do such things to awesome people
it's just sad. But we're all going to get back on our feet with the backup files
, or if not?

My guess is that they like to see people's reactions... sad, but true. But, I'm glad that I installed the latest update for my website.
I didn't think it was very important at first either, so.. ya know, I left it alone for a couple days.. and I finally took a look at the version features, and it noted that it was "VERY Important" that I download the update. So I guess I ultimately had no choice.
