I am trying to create a drop down menu that is at the bottom of a header and then the rest of the page is just plain HTML. Is it possible to create a drop down menu for one of the buttons?

It is not possible to create a drop down menu that will overlap HTML in only flash because flash can only operate within its area. However i suppose it is possible with flash using some javascript or something.

I'm believe that it is possible -- I know there are pay to use flash menus that do this. I can try and work up some code for you, but unfortunately (for you, not me...) I'm away snowboarding this weekend with my wife
So...no code for you until I get back, sorry mate!
Edit:
For what its worth, you can just use DHTML too...plenty of tuts if you google it.

It is possible to overlap a Flash movie on HTML. You need to set the background transparent, but some browsers, like FF, can't handle it. You'd be better off finding either AJAX, Javascript, or DHTML menu.
