Hey well i have been scaning the web for inspiration for a design and came accross a site with a simple layout which i liked.

It's just a simple black middle section, with a rounded header part, and a slight gradient at the header. and uses dotted sepperators.

I could easily just copy the site but i dont want to because that is just like ripping the images off there so has anyone got any ideas how i can keep the look but add my own additions? Im obveously gona have my header and the images and gradients are not exactly the same also i have used my colourscheme. i was also thinking of having my site name watermarked underthe black background for a sort of personal touch. Any more?

Here is the template i came up with, it is based on dieselmodels.co.uk Would this be ok for me to use because i have not ripped anything all images are created by me in photoshop and it has been modified to look original i jus based the layout on the flow of that site and the navigation / splitters. Obveously the 'Property of XIAIA' watermark will not be there

Well, if you made it, you can use it.
