Seemes im the only one who doesnt like this piece. I cant say its ugly or anything, its just that it mixes unmatching elements and hides to much on the shadows. The trees look awsome no contest, so does the ground and the grass and overall foliage. The issues start mostly with the creatures (which i beleve are separatly rendered and put into the image via PS). The main issue is the lightning. If you observe the direction of the shadows and then compare it with the lightning on the creatures it doesnt add up and it gives a weard look. For example the troll standning in a akward pose at in the middle had lightning coming right at him in the same direction he casts a shadow and had a shadow sittin at his back. and right in front of him the tree is receving a highlight in the "correct" direction of light. looks weard to me. There is the same problem with the guy sticking out of the tree, that dark shadow just dissapears from the tree where he sticks out even tough he should have the same level of shadow as the tree itself. I also must critezise the rain effect. Its very cheep basicly. rendering out raindrops in 3d isnt had work if you have a particle engine. It takes away from the realism in the picture and furthermore it never seemes to tuch the ground or interact with the troll standin in the middle of it. he should be soking with raindrops bouncing of him and of the ground around him. Im sorry man it just doesnt add dp in my head while looking at this, id go with only the scenery and the pic would be flawless with just that. Sorry for the textwall also. But id like to see more of your work in the future, work hard on your 3d rendering and dont do one thing more halfassed then another.

Dance,
Well i'm getting used to it. If only I knew 3D... I use Poser and PS for creatures. I render actual humans in Poser and then transform them into creatures, in PS.
And that rain is not 3D (if u meant that). Thnx for comment though. Hope i'll get better soon )
