What is a good video recording software that is good for making tutorials?

The best as far as I am concerned, and I use it all the time, is Techsmith's Camtasia.

I already used up the 30-Day trial. Are there any other good programs?

May I suggest then buying it. You will find no better in my view.

Camtasia 4 hands down. I wouldn't suggest anything less. It's awesome. I highly suggest purchasing it. Totally worth the money.

I use Easy Video Capture to make slide-show training documents. It is very useful for me. Here is the guide and faq of the software.

If your not doing anything fancy, you could try to find Camtasia 2 somewhere, it will be a lot cheaper and it's got all the basic stuff you need.
