There's 2-3 other websites that do this and quite honestly I cannot see a need for another one.

How are you indexing the search results? spidering everyones websites? Forget that I just read your using http://phpdig.net/

Looks ok but also looks really empty on a big screen.

I'm aware that there are a few others out there, TutorialSeek for example (but it isn't up).

Yeah it is empty. We're adding featured tutorials as well as some other content this week.

I'm not sure if you need to load up that front page too much. Think google.

When you visit one of you website that you've indexed, there should be an option to remove the frame to your site.

We don't add frames. There are frames on certain tutorials, but they were added by the site we indexed. I'll direct this suggestion to the topic's starter as he owns gfxtuts and adds frames.

I think this comment was a bit harsh "Unlike tutorial indexing websites such as Pixel2life.com and Good Tutorials, BestTuts offers contextual searching, allowing you to search inside the tutorial."

Ok...I removed the links to P2L. Don't see how it's harsh. It's a fact, no emotion or opinion involved. It's just saying that unlike tutorial indexing websites, we offer contextual searches, not "Pixel2Life sucks because you can only search tutorial titles" (It doesn't btw )
Thanks for your comment.

Techtuts is offline but I am sure somewhere on that page it says content or management, be more percise with your search if you do not want the other sites to come up.

It doesnt say Content Management anywhere and all the results are from TechTuts, and i know that TechTuts has a CMS tutorial but it doesnt show up but "Simple Glitter Animation..." and "Futuristic Orb" come up

It's contextual. They must have both those words somewhere on the page. I'll add something to clear it up

Edit Yeah, spidering forums can be a little tricky because of the replies, usernames, and the member status. The content management search brought up those results becuase of results, and some members are "Site Management". I'm re-spidering TechTuts, but only spidering the first post in each topic. Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks for the bug! It'll be fixed up in a couple minutes
