I didn't know really where to put this so I just stuck it here! I wanted to introduce myself. I found this great site yesterday while looking for some Corel Tutorials on the Internet. My name is Jordan (people tend to call me Jordie), I am sixteen years old and live in Kansas (the worst state ever; unless you like old people, tons of resteraunts, bad drivers and tornadoes!).

I am working on improving my web development skills and already know many languages. Some of the languages I know are C, C++, PHP (I love PHP), Perl, HTML, Visual Basic and a few others. I really would like to start learning how ot make some of the cool graphics I have seen some of you make. I have already made a few nice ones and am still learning.

Just wanted to introduce myself. You will be seeing me around here so now you know who I am!

With your coding knowledge, if you backed it up with great design work you could make awesome websites!

I wish I knew code well already ;)

Well... See ya around!

It isn't hard to learn! If you really want to learn then go out and buy a book on the subject. I highly recommend __ for dummies books. :)

I think the Sam's teach yourself ___ in 24 hours are ridiculous! You can't learn a subject related to computers in only 24 hours! You can but not learn the subject fully!

Not to be rude to anyone but I think a lot of people here could really use these two sites before they posted.

A lot of people don't use proper grammar and spelling online, here is no exception... I think being understood is important. :D

Oh! Ahoy-hoy and welcome ;)

You don't have to talk right. I would talk dumb to if I was illiterate! Not to be rude Syntex but I can't read 90% of your post without running them through a Dumbass to English translator! ^_^

Really? I bought the SAMS Teach Yourself PHP, MySQL, and Apache in 24 Hours and found it pretty good. Of course, I already knew most of the basics.. But I had no clue about MySQL and learned basically all I know from it. I agree, most "Learn x in y time" are bad, but I find the SAMS books good. It's not really literally 24 Hours, it's just a technique to draw people in. It's in 24 chapters. Like I have a book on Javascript, SAMS Learn Javascript in 21 Days, but it's not like each chapter takes a day to read.

By the way, those underlined words aren't links, for those of you who might try to click on them.
