This is just like this thread.

You didn't design that skin, so we really can't give you feedback on what you didn't make.

Why do people think it is a wonderful feat to install a forum and free skin?
I am stumped at that.

Don't mean to single you out mate, but I really think we need to start keeping these threads devoted to constructive criticism, and positive remarks. For the past month or two now, the feedback in many of the threads on p2l has, in my eyes, deteriorated.

Rather than mocking someone, or making sarcastic remarks about their work, point them to a tutorial so they can learn something and improve on what they have. I think this applies even more to people who are new to p2l. Why make them feel like dirt? Not a good way to expand the community.

Making skins doesn't take any money at all. Outside of the cost for adobe photoshop, which I'm sure you already have. I make skins, and I spend $0 on it. I'm only 16, but I bought an IP.Board license, and I worked for it. If you want cash, get off your butt and make it yourself. Not to sound too harsh, but You definitely don't need to rely on donation.

I completely agree!! These forums have lost their form and it's shocking! Some of the comments are enough to make me puke...

Anyway, man, you're doing alright ;) Have you looked at the skinning tuts on P2L yet?

If you haven't, have a look at these:
IPB Forum Skinning
http://www.pixel2life.com/tutorials/genera...t/ipb_skinning/

Other Forum Skinnning
http://www.pixel2life.com/tutorials/genera...forum_skinning/

All the best, dude :)

No worries mate. What good are these forums if people scare away those whom the tutorials are for? You cant be expected to know all this stuff, and you shouldn't be treated as such. Learn and have fun doing it. On the other side of that, take criticism well...it always works better for you and gets you more feedback, in turn giving you higher quality work.
