Not really, a military smoke grenade creates a continuous smoke cloud for around 10 minutes and its about 300% smaller.

not the best one ive seen, pretty big.

i'd just like to post a link to a smoke bomb me and my mates did last yer, a lot smaller but produced a shed load of smoke and lasts a lot longer than than big one!

Ive played paintball at a couple of outdoor places that sold some really nice smoke grenades. Smoke was all red, and it just lingered and lasted forever. Was some top notch stuff. The paint grenades on the other hand...they sucked.

Yes!!! The paint grenades were poor like. Dont you agree that a similar smoke bomb to the one in the video would do nicely on an ambush lol.

making a smoke bomb is pretty simple
the materials are very easy and cheap to get

I've made these before... it's saltpeter (potassium nitrate) and icing sugar. You can add other elements to make colored smoke and if you combine this with magnesium pieces and gun powder (potassium nitrate, sulfur and charcoal) you can create flash bombs lol!

Ahh... good times in my misspent youth. Do this stuff nowadays and you get arrested for being a terrorist.

I LOVED messing around with that stuff... I used to make tennis ball bombs and pipe bombs and blow up tree stumps and stuff with them. The other fun thing was to toss them in a pond near my house and they would create these massive water explosions.

In hindsight, I'm rather surprised I still have all my limbs attached.

meh, im too lazy, a couple years ago i bought 40 packs of 10 x firecrackers for £90 .. I saved for ages and ages and with the fire crackers freshly shipped from france, I tied the together making one huge one, got into my backgarden with my friends (About to have a BB Gun war, wish protective clothing of course) and without them knowing I lit it right behind their base, ran away and before you knew it their base/my dads tool shed was in a blaze..

My dad never found out about that.. I repainted teh side panel that caught on fire after 3 and a half painstaking minutes of fire rescue lol..

Looking back im surprised they didnt die.. they were trapped in the toolshed while the roof and side panel were ablaze.. Happy days

also, i used to buy small smoke bombs from the practical joke shop in town, 10 for £13, so i got 100.. again, put them together.. smoke for nearly 40 minutes.. Neighbours came running to my back yard thining the house was on fire.. I was a right little shit haha

Stuff a bunch of sparklers (couple of hundred) in a pvc pipe and light it, works very good as well
