anybody please help me with my problem..its like this i have a photogallery made in flash with xml..how will i put some scrollbars in the thumbnails of my project?

Well if you load the thumbnails inside a movieclip, you can just use the scrollbar component on that movieclip. Although components are heavy in size and they don't usually blend well with your Flash. Look on the net for a scrollbar tutorial. I found one on kirupa.com a while ago.

They have some tuts for scrollbars on here I believe. Ill find the link and edit this post for you.

OK, maybe i was wrong lmao. Sorry. Do what Ben said, google search it.

The basic idea for a scrollbar is pretty simple. You take the y-coord of the scrollbar thumb (thumb is the little part you drag) in relation to the height of the track (the background of the scroll...in other words the area where the thumb is allowed to move) , and apply that same ratio to the content clip you'd like to scroll.

Here's the basic math:
bar's y divided by track's height multiplied by content's height multiplied by negative one
Ofcourse it's not perfect, but it's basically how it works.
