Hello everybody!

Along with my friends I've recorded a short movie with a camera and later on edited it in Sony Vegas. I added some sound and subtitles and then rendered it in good quality (not the best) .waw format. Now here's the problem. It's size is more then 3GB and it's basicly not longer then 20 minutes. How to lower the size of the movie and still keep the same good picture and sound quality?

And one more thing. Is there any useful program for easy making of subtitles? I don't always want to put them in the movie in Vegas becouse it takes too much time. I'd like to have another subtitles file and then simply load them in a movie player.

Thanks for your answers!

Get your hands on the DIVX convertor (you can pick it up at www.divx.com for dirt cheap) and it's mindless to use. Just drag and drop your huge movie and it does the rest and spits out a tiny movie with top quality.

Hint: If you want the DivX encode without all the spyware that comes with it, check out Xvid
