So, I'm designing a website with a friend I know of - the site will be for Christian teens and other teens ... it will gradually end up being a place where we can get support from one another in what ever area may be needed and stuff like that as well as being a fun place to be around.

Scaled the design down... and sorry about the watermarks... maybe I should have toned them down a bit.

This isn't the finished design, but I'm open to suggestions. :)

About the Header... I have the feeling it may be a tad too big - also, we'll be rotating the header image around daily to give the site a cool lift to it.

Just a question: Do you think that the field with the hay in the header gives the impression that we're actually trying to light the field? Or is that just me?

I think the template looks good, but maybe try some margins between the sections? Give it a bit of empty space to emphasize the content.

There is a 1px border between the boxes that you can't really see in that preview - it looks heaps better full size lol

I'd give it a whirl with a 8-16px border...maybe even more, just to see what it looks like.

It looks pretty good but the header confuses me. It looks like dead grass more than hay.

@ Pax - Do you mean a border between the left and right columns or a border around each box? Either way, I'll give it a try!! Not sure it'll come out the way I want it to, though.

@ raidsilver - yeah, this was one of the background images that we weren't really convinced about using. Next preview I have I'll change it

As for the moment, we're on a halt until my friend comes back from his trip

Looks really good, for some reason it reminds me of windows vista.

Oh, goodness - I hope not... lol. It may be the empty glass navbar + the header background? If I just changed the background image, it should look alright. lol

More progress on this project to be posted soon :blink:
