As Yahoo! Mail approaches its 10-year anniversary, I’m the lucky one who gets to announce that we will begin offering everyone unlimited email storage starting in May 2007. To mark the occasion, I checked in with David Nakayama, our group vice president of engineering, for some perspective on this milestone. In case that name doesn’t ring a bell, he’s the developer of RocketMail, one of the world’s first webmail products, which Yahoo! acquired and relaunched as Yahoo! Mail in 1997

I dumped GMail for Y!Mail a while ago, and haven't looked back. Love GMail, Love Y!Mail much more lol.

I keep organised folders, i forward mail from my other accounts into separate folders, it catches 99% of the small amount of spam spam (for me) and has a great interface (much better than GMail imo)

I am currently using 2% of my 1GB quota, so this isn't going to impact me majorly but it it certainly a step in the right direction for Y!Mail.

Same here!! Outlook is the best option to go, IMO - I use GMail with Outlook - Superb!

Yahoo! is a little late here. Honestly. They're just now getting to this point.... sad. Ever since I had an uncontrollable amount of spam that Y! couldn't get rid of for me. I moved to GMail and LOVE IT!.

Sorry Y!, I'm not convinced.

Using 200 MB of nearly 3 gigs on my Gmail, spread over more than 2 years... Do I really need more space?
