So basically, I recently saw a picture that I wish to replicate with other images. Said image can be found at:

I had a friend ask me if i wanted to do the art part of it or the rollover part, I want to do the art part...the rollover is noob flash basics. Basically, I am trying to find out if there as any kind of tutorial or if anyone could personally help me do at aleast one image in that style. I have seen other pictures like that and have been unsuccessful in finding out how to paint images like that. Any kind of help would be most appreciated!!!

It's because there is no "way" of making images like that. Everyoine has their own style when it comes to this. This person have painted over and repainted almost the whole image. All you can do is to get a tablet and practise, practise and practise. Theere is no easy filter way of creating this sort of images.

heh, guess i was, the way its some inst a easy filter way though. Manual mostly as i said though te skin was smudged "clean". It's a nice outcome but kind of limiting.

Well tried it and I must say its not as easy as it looks. Maybe ill post my result later on
