Hello,

I would like to know how Pixel2Life or many other sites I've seen integrate some forum components into their site. For example on P2L, I can easily login from the main page into the forum and still remain on the main page with some information (username, inbox..etc) displaying.

With that said, I would also like to know how one can create a comment system that requires a user to be a registered logged-in member of the forum inorder for them to post a comment. Would this require me to look thru the forum member database but how do I check the password?

To not run into any complications, I have an IPB forum (similar to P2L) so I would like to know how to do this integration with an IPB-based forum.
