With no website developement skills I decided to start a website exactly one month ago.
So far it has been a really enjoyable learning experiment. I now have come to a stage where I would like to hear
the thoughts of other way more experienced web-designers about my website.

Since I had no knowledge whatsoever so far I used alot of tutorials and altered them for use on my website.

Please let me know what you think,
Thanks in advance,

website: www.wixtor.com

for a beginner its not bad at all, its how we all started of....just need to work on the graphical side of sites to...theres an art to designing sites. White text in menu is little pail to read, and your flash movie plays 2 2 many little flying in things lol. Apart from that....i recomend validating your pages :), keep learning dude!

Give the forum the same template as the main site.
Other than that for a first okish. Practice will get you there.

It is always good to ask for comments. One man's love is other man's hate.If you like your own design but others might dislike it.

Very simple and neat design, very nice
Good Start!!!

Not bad for your first site, I would definantly consider learning about graphic design using software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Keep it up ;)

I was already learning photoshop but since I'm also busy learning html, php, javascript, flash and css, I quite frankly am not so good with photoshop yet:(
Hopefully in due time I will be abit better.

I changed the in-menu text and added some graphical niceness to the header-letters as mentioned above.
I am going to change the forum to fit my design soon.

Not bad for a first attempt. One thing that stood out to me was in your logo. I'm assuming you wanted it to look like a reflection. It would probably look more like a reflection if the "W" in wixtor were the same color. And maybe bring the opacity down to about 50-60% in the reflected part. But, hey, it looks a lot better than the first one I ever made. (Can you say anigif overload. LOL ^_^ ). But anyhow, just keep working at it.
