color problem

I'm using Photoshop CS2 and I cant I cant get pure white color. Its a light baise yellowish kinda of color, hwo do i reset the color settings?

On your Swatches palette, there's a small arrow in the top right corner. Click on it and I believe there's a reset swatches palette option. Or just choose the default swatches.

Try and open the colour picker, fill in the RGB values 255,255,255 and then just fill a document with it. If it still is that light yellowish, then it is your colour calibration on your monitor.
