I just made my first signature using Photoshop CS3. C&C

Not bad for a first, I must say, but of course there are a few things you might want to work on.

The blending of Ichigo into the background could use some doing. It looks like you've got kind of a motion blur or something going on. If you want him to be more blended into the background, I would suggest adding a layer mask to him, and softly brush the edges of it so you can see the background a little bit. If you're new to Photoshop, this won't sound familiar to you, though. You could always add a very soft and light drop shadow to him as well, to separate from the background instead.

The text needs the most work. That font you're using is too generic for the general "feeling" of the rest of the image. I would recommend something more sharp, less round, and a bit more space in between the letters. Try all capital letters, as well.

The styling on the text is kind of ugly, too. Try making the text all white, and a small, light orange outer glow. Take the hard drop shadow off.

It also does not have much to it. Add some more images, but try not to let them distract from the text, or Ichico's face. Maybe put a less opaque, but much larger copy of his face in the background, and play with the layer blending options for it. And I'm not sure what that image on the left is, but I think it might be his sword? Find some other pictures relating to the main focus of your image (Ichigo) and work on their placement.

Another cool thing you might think about doing is, instead of that strip behind the text that fades into Ichigo, get a nice, clean image of his sword to go behind the text and Ichigo. Maybe even a Kanji or two could fit in there somehow.
