I don't even know where to start in generall with wallpapers or how to fill them up? Any tips on wallpaper making in general would be apreciated.

You're right that you definitely need to fill that image with more. It's way too plain.

What I recommend is maybe adding a layer mask to that big rectangle you've got so that it fades out a little bit. I suppose you could just do that with a gradient layer style, too, but masks give you more control. The thick stroke on that thing doesn't seem to fit either. I suggest making it much thinner, and maybe filling it with a gradient rather than a solid color. Thick solid lines just don't seem to match the car, which is the main focus of your image.

You just need to think about whether or not each thing in there has a point, and if it belongs. Like, what message or feeling are you trying to convey with having the back-end of the car covered by a slightly opaque rectangle? If you figure out a theme you're going for, rather than just making a wallpaper for the hell of it, knowing what else to put in there will be much easier. One thing I must say is to keep the focus on your car. Don't go crazy throwing a bunch of crap all over the place just because it looks neat, have all the elements in the wallpaper flow toward the car. And no, this doesn't mean you should use a radial blur on anything.

Just sit there for a while and play around with things. If you're afraid of screwing up the whole thing, don't be. You can easily save a copy for every version you make, or just back everything up before you mess with it.

Maybe you could put something in the translucent box like the name of the car, maybe a small list of specs on the car, e.g. hp, 0-60, you know the stuff that makes guy drool, since it looks like this would be something a guy would dl. And one thing I would fix before doing anything else is fix the reflection under the car. It looks like it started rolling before the car did. :(
