I am new here. So I guess I should present myself at the same time but that will need to wait... Anyways, for several months, I have been working on a giganormous website project but I just can't seem to get the design. I would like it to be this green with this orange and a little bit of gray. Can you guys please help me. B.T.W. I am really not a photoshop expert so if you want to give me strategies, very basic. And I prefer Fireworks;)

Hello TimJ, before i can assist you it would be nice to know a little more information.

What type of website are you trying to create?

Do you have Photoshop installed on your computer if so what version?

What specific colors do you want? (Hex codes please)

I can empathise with that, getting the design right always seems the hardest bit to me!

I'm not quite sure what you are asking, do you want help on the layout, colour selection, do you have anything done already?

I am trying to make a portal for webmasters.

I have Fireworks 8 but not Photoshop (although I can open .psp files in Fireworks)

I am not looking for a specific color. Just a bright lime green, an orange, and a little bit of grey.

Give this thing a shot:

http://www.colorsche...com/online.html

It will help you pick out different colors. I use it find complementary colors all the time. Let me know if that works.

Hi again! What exactly do you mean by a portal for webmasters? I might be able to assist you and photoshop a layout for you if you provide a little more information.

Short description: My site is a portal for webmasters, providing javascripts, tutorials, sites etc. I am hoping to make it a one stop site for webmasters.
