Hi

this is hard to explain so please bare with me,

ive just been working on a website, designing and developing it.
http://www.cococultu...mnew/index.html

However ive designed it so there is an advert banner at the top of each page and a skyscraper banner on the right side of each page.

ive used javascript to randomly display 2/2 banners in each location.

now the problem is, in some browsers like my girlfriends laptop the banners do not display for some reason. its just complately blank. its fine in my browser tho.

im puzzled to why this happens.

could anyone please shine a light down my tunnel.

thank you so much

Well, I just tried it in a FF, Opera, IE6 and 7 and they all seem to display the ads just fine. Try testing it on other computers besides your gf's, it might just be her computer for some odd reason.

Best solution would be to avoid Javascript at all though. You can easily do this with PHP if your server supports it.

I used to have Norton Internet Security and it did VERY well at removing ads.

It looks for key words in the url, like *ad*, *ads*, etc. I don't remember them all. If it had anything in the url resembling that it is an ad, it was blocked.
