Well, my brother got a dang virus on my laptop but I took it all out with Norton Internet Security 2007. BUT my computer is still much slower than it used to be and has little freezes every few seconds or so, so I tried doing a system restore 3 times but everytime on each new restore point it saya "Restoration Incomplete, the system cannot be restored to this point" whenever it reboots. Does anyone know what is wrong? Please Help

Great now the pop up and stuff are coming back, can someone please help.

Sounds like before you can do the restore you need to try and see what virus is actually infecting your comp and manually take care of it.

If you're getting some type of pop-up windows type the content into google and see if you can find a way to manually remove it.

A sure fire way to fix it is a complete format/re-install, but those can be not a lot of fun if you have a lot of data to lose.
