I seem to get a difference in color with my background images and my normal images in IE6 and 7. This happens when I use flash or just a normal image. Take for instance I create a 1 pixel width bg with 200 height in PS in a document 800x600 for my bg. If I then stretch that to the full width of the document of 800 then add text to it and cut that out at 200x200 then save the 200x200 and the 1x200 now I have my bg and header image. For some reason when I place them in DW one as background repeating on the x-axis and then insert an image as a background in the div tag the colors do not match up in IE6 or 7, they do in FF though.
Help appreciated.
Inserted images and background images in IE6 and 7

IE has a problem with colors and PNG images. It also won't use PNG transparency.
The only way you'll be able to fix something like this is to either use all .png files (and .jpg is fine) so that you won't notice seems where images connect, or you will have to revert to all .gif files to maintain consistency for both browser.
This is a known problem, and I don't really know if it was fixed in IE7. I would think so...
