In January of this year, I was pulled over by a traffic officer for “disobeying a steady red”, a.k.a. running a red light. I pleaded “Not Guilty” to the charge, and today - nearly six months later – I went to court to find out the fate of my ticket violation. Check out how Google Maps saved me some serious cash - and points on my license!

This is pretty cool story I just found browsing through google pages. The tag at the bottom says July 2005 so its old but it's the first time I've heard this story. Pretty cool that the guy thought of using Google Maps to prove his point and completely discredit the officer. Nice work!

I personally use Mapquest anytime I need to get somewhere, it's just so easy and simple, and provides not only maps but satellite images to show the location even clearer.

Never need to ask for directions again
