I'm wanting the color of this bar:
to be like this black bar:
I've gone to personalization > window color and apperance > open classic apperance properties > advanced and couldn't seem to find how to change this.
I thought it would be "menu" or "active title bar" but it didn't change so I tried the rest and none seemed to change it, btw how do I set them back to default now XD. I did like the increase on the padding though, the extra glass looks kinda good, though it when I put it to zero it still had like a 1 pixel border.
Anyway help with changing that color's bar would be awsome!
Can you change the color of the menu bar in Vista?

Yes you can! It's called a shellstyle. I don't know exactly how to edit it yourself, but it involves using a program like ResHacker to change the bitmaps in the aero.msstyle.. You can download some shellstyles from deviantart.
Here's one that makes it black
You can view a bunch of different ones at This Link
