Ok, after making my other layout, I decided to scrap it and make a new one!
Took a few weeks, but I made a new layout coded it (Mostly CSS) and added the content. Now all I need to do is skin the news system.

Nice overall.
I can only find personal gripes like the background of the captions being to dark for the back so on higher resolutions it all just kinda blends together.

Hmm what part are you talking about? Can you take a screen so I can see how it looks for you?
Im on a massive 32" Samsung HD TV, running at 1360x768, seems fine for me.

The top part of the text is fine. But below the Gloss line, Its not UNREADABLE. Just uncomfortable to read.
(i don't have my monitors contrast and brightness jacked up)

Looks fine for me tbh lol. Might just be your monitor is a bit darker than mine....?
I might change the color a bit lighter though, for people who dont have brightish displays. I will consider it for sure!

The site looks very templatey, but I'm not going to comment on that.
I see the issue that esem has, and personally I think it could be easily fixed if the text colour was white rather than black on the brown. Dark on dark isn't nice, and it does make it harder to read for some. If the brown was a lighter shade, perhaps the black wouldn't blend so much, but I think just changing it to white would be more than enough.
Apart from that snag, everything appears to be in order.

Thats pretty nice but I dont think the 2-tone heading bars work personally, I'd make them just one colour, more pastelly, and a bit lighter.

It's nice but it took me over 5 minutes to load all the images which is really offputting and made me want to leave.
