About a week ago I bored with WordPress and especially with my old theme so I decided to completely re-make my blog. The result is this.
I did the blog system completely myself and named it mBlog (not so original name, I know). I changed the theme and now it's better than the old one
What do you think?
blog.taikasilma.com - new weblog!

It's not a "web 2.0" badge. Just trying to be humorous.

I see that is a joke on the header, but even a joke deserves a more creative badge!
a sticker, stamped text... anything . Is not that bad to have that badge, but gets boring to see it on almost every page on the web.

Since the header is a stretchable, i think you should make it more fancy. When stretched out to say.... 800px it looks way too plain.
Other than that it's a geat start. You should keep working on it.

You have to ask with every part of your website "what does this give to my website". Your header is very big and very plain and just seems to take up space. I would jass it up a bit, add some navigation to it and make it 1/2 to 1/3 of the size. Then it will be useful, at the moment it just seems like a waste. Remember scan webpages top left to bottom right so you want your content as close to the top as possible.
