Apparently this kid threw a ball at Akon (you can see a ball in the second video) and so Akon decided it would be funny to pick him up, swing him around and throw him back into the croud. Ass....

The way he threw that kid...he could have been hurt.

I have always heard it was a ball, it looks like a ball to me...so I'm going to assume it's a ball. Aside from that, it didn't even hit him.

Even if it was a glass bottle, he took as it another opportunity to show off just like all "rappers" do, it's part of their "image" and its pathetic, and this time it was just dangerous frankly.

Akon's not really a rapper lol, hes R&B. He's just done a few collaborations with rappers.

He picked him up like he wasn't nothin lol -toss- -back to the show-

I mean if someone throws somethin at you in the middle of captain d's, u just gonna look away? why should it be any different just because hes singing infront of a few thousand people ;p

being honest the most mature thing to do would be to get his bodygaurd to guide the kid off the area not to bring him on stage and try to impress the "females" that where there? i do agree though that if it was in the middle of a street then i would use simular actions

im sure quite a few people would react the same way, and could you blame them? but the main difference being, akon is a role model to millions of wannabe gangsters all over the world... were not. it is no wonder these young gangters do the crap they do with nuggets like this as thier role models, is it.

so yes, he should have shown restraint. can you imagine the shit footballers get from the crowd (coins, bottles, abuse, songs about how thier missus takes it up the s*****r)? and how often do you see them losing thier tempers and retaliating?
