Nothing tooooo special I suppose, but it's a logo design I made for my friend's sister's investment group. It's just to put on business cards and whatnot. It won't be made into a website or anything as far as I know.

She just asked me one day to create a business card for her new thingy, and basically left it all up to me. I spent about two hours and came up with this logo and a simple business card design. The colors were my picking, but she specified that it have something to do with money, and that it was somewhat of a modern look.

This design is inspired mostly by my unuSuaL concept design experimentation, but still a bit different.... :angrylooking:

By the way, it's pronounced like "unity" but with a J sound instead of a T. And thus the idea of the two unified letters came to mind as well.

I'm actually quite proud of this for how little time I spent on it :] The actual "unigi" part was created entirely from scratch, and the "investments" was made possible by the Birdman font which I got a long time ago from Dafont.com.

I like the colored version better then the monochrome one, the wrap effect on the monochrome tries to add a perspective to the logo that isn't anywhere else in the logo.

But the logos them selfs look really good, you have the gimmick in the un shape and then the rest is neat shape work. Clean and good looking.

I agree that I like the colored (bottom) version a lot better. I like how the "u" and the "n" are laced together.

Nice work!

as the other I also agree on the colored version, also on the black logo I noticed that the gradient doesnt macth the same as the smaller version to the right.. they should be the same and I think it looks best from the small version

Well I took the feedback so far and made some changes. The overall consensus was that the large grayscale logo was in need of some work, so I just got rid of the fade all together, and I am pleased with how it turned out.

I would add a thin white line where the U and the N interlace in the b/w version, that way it's distinguishable. Other than that it's great. Good fonts.

The U/N combination gets lost too much in the B&W Version. I would either add a thin line as albino said or make a Grayscale version (maybe using 50% blacks) instead of a pure Black and white.

I have made some pretty substantial changes to the thing, including a nicely styled large logo.

Input?
