Can someone help me or direct me to the solution for streaming video from my site via links. Here's the situation. I'm the webmaster for my church. I uploaded videos to our hosting service (Value Web). On our sermon page, I have links to videos and audio. But when you click on them, the whole file downloads then wmp opens up and plays the file whether it be audio of video. I've tried linking to the files with asx files. I've tried re-encoding them to wma/wmv files. I've tried a bit of everything to get them to steam. I've looked all over the net for answers and I can't get a clear answer. I know that using flash based video works, I've tried that, but I want good quality video that can be resized to full screen if the user so desires. I know that it's possible cause I got the idea from this site. (my Pastor's home church).
I thought it may have been a Firefox issue but it does the same thing in IE.
Also, I don't want to embed each and every video either.
Please help. I feel like P2L is my last hope on this problem.
