I created a document with a background image in word, but when I create this as a pdf file the background in the pdf file is white.
Does anyone know how to get the background into acrobat as well?
I have tried for ages and just will not work.

What program did you use to generate the PDF?
If you are using Adobe InDesign, then have you moved the image? As when you enter an image in InDesign it will only link to the location of that image.

Oh right, I wasn't aware Word could save in PDF format. But could be because I have the OS X version. Honestly I'm a bit stumped to why this would be happening as well, have you tried doing the PDF in Adobe Photoshop?
Sorry I could not be much help

So am I using the OSX version. But I have the full version of Acrobat as well that came with CS3.
Naa I gave up and done the docs in what I know best VIDEO! I reckon my applications would be the first to have a video manual. LOL.
Just imagine doing a dvd with a chapter for each feature LOL.
