I think you have to appreciate the difference between activeness and just posting a fair bit. People like rc69 should be on that list simply because he's around most days and does a lot in the help section but only posts 1/2 times a day recently :)

im only doing the list depending on who i see the most and who i believe posts the most.. Thats what defines an active member.

True true, I'm not a fan of post counts so my definition will always include how much someone contributes to a topic or forum from the contents of a post but yeah I'm not disagreeing with the list (with the exception of perhaps RMGR? :))

If you're basing it solely off post counts then just check out the "Today's top 20" link every day.

But I agree with Matthew that it's more than just post count, it's the quality of the post as well.

I've noticed people such as rc69 (to take the example from above) are VERY helpful with the "help" forums. And some of their responses take a LOT more time then my "Welcome to P2L" posts.

I'd say its quality of the posts, rather than post count. Post count doesn't mean a whole lot IMO. It's not hard to spam a forum  but like was mentioned above with rc69 helping people...thats what counts, and I'm sure that kind of work gets people coming back to the p2l forums...not so much the Mountain Dew Party Room "bump the post count" threads.....

I agree with what your saying but all the Staff are active, rc69 is always active in php and help topics even before he became Staff he was. I answer more PM's that what I post.

Post counts mean nothing, we have a lot more active members than your list states. Your forgetting all the stuff you cannot see all the tutorial submitters, personal messages, emails and the background work that keeps this site going.

I was trying to say rc69 should be on the list (or rather recognised for being active) :) What did you think i meant?

edit: How many PMs do you get :D
