Who was it earlier that was interested in a wacom tablet?

I have one I just unhooked. It's an older model (see pic below...not mine...but mine is like it) but if you're looking to get a feel for if you'd like it this might help. It hooks in through a serial port.

I don't remember who was talking about it but whoever it was paypal me like $10 for shipping and I'll get it out in the mail to ya.

Thanks so much!

That was me.. but I want one of those bigger ones that are like a computer monitor.
I don't think the smaller tablets are much cop. I have had a few in my time and they all end in the dust corner.
It is the full size one I want. As for the serial port, that counts me out because I use a Mac.

Correction Bug hehe

ROFL...fight! fight!fight! Either way I guess since CI can't use it that automatically defaults to you Bug :D

I'll fire ya off a PM...just remember, it's an older model so it's not near as smooth as the newer ones but it worked when I had it plugged in, and like it has been mentioned, you just need to take time to get used to it. I remember in college we never even used a mouse anymore, just always used the pen.

I think you'll also have to search around for a driver...don't remember though.

First of all I don't think this thread is in the right place... but meh and second... Creative I don't know why you want the screen one so bad... I find the intuous3 go really well and it's not hard at all to get used to it... Just got mine and it was alot easier then I thought to get used to it...

I bought one of those 2 weeks ago. Thought it would help improve my drawing ability.
Had to take it back a few days ago.
Apparently if you have absolutely no talent for drawing, it doesn't matter how much money you spend on technology, you will still suck at drawing.

I found I could draw as good using a wacom pen on the computer as I could using a normal pen on a peice of paper....... Horrible.

Well, no one really told me it would help. I guess I kind of just assumed that technology could fix anything. I mean it is TECHNOLOGY..... Right???? :)

lilman, I want the bigger because that is what I have wanted for some time now and this time I don't want to settle. Since I have been told it will just slip onto my Mac like a new silk dress on a woman that is what I will save up for. That is the wacom.. not the woman LOL. I have one of those.

I didn't realize he lived in Australia. We've looked into it and it would be more I think. I think Bug said he'd look on Ebay for Australia b/c he can basically get the same thing on there for the same price.

If Bug can confirm him not wanting it I'll be willing to send it to someone else as long as they'll cover shipping costs.
