hello,

I use a special font my boss told me to use on his site. For some odd reasons only some poeple can view the font and others dont see it...

I want to allow everyone to see the font i used in my swf files...

so how can i do this? thnx

you need to embed the font in the swf. click on your text, go to Character... and choose which characters you want to embed. Just know that embedding fonts increases the swf's size.

yeah but that mean i have to do it for all my text in my flash files and thats much...

isnt there a way you add a font to a swf file?

Doing it in one text field will usually suffice. That is assuming all your other textfields use the same font. You'll need to embed another version of the font if you plan on using a bolded text as well.

its simple mate. you can use any font you want! you just have to embed it...like so...

text marquee tool - it can be on static or dynamic.
click EMBED
Posted Image

Highlight the following
Posted Image
and press OK.

it doesnt matter what font you use! as long as you embed it like above, everyone will be able to see that font.
