Hi all,

Can anyone help me with this problem?

I'm trying to slice a website in Photoshop and when I come to slice I chose it to save the images in .GIF format but when I save them they come out as .JPEG ?

For starters the naming of the slices is like that as u need to click on the slices and edit their names.... And as for the file type.. Your better off using jpeg than Gif anyways.. Although gif would allow it to load faster, jpeg would keep that part of quality to the images.

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply.

I am trying to save them as .GIF files, but when I do I still get the .JPEG file formats, that was the problem that I was having to start off with.

Any ideas mate?

Tom.

gifs do not suck good sir.

once youve finished slicing...have you exported it to ImageReady? do you Have ImageReady?

do that...if you have ImageReady...and "Save Optimized As" and it will save it correctly for you.
