Um, yeah --> Photoshop brush shows ugly edge?

So when i use photoshop's default brush there's a weird/ugly edge on it?
Like it's trying to fade the edge of the brush, but just doesn't quite make it.. <_<

HELP ME!

Here's the pic, and thank you for responding!
It's a "soft round brush" 300px, 0% hardness. It looks like that in photshop, but when i save it, it looks fine.

Submit a picture of the stroke and the brush settings, "ugly" edges can appear for many reasons. Impossible to give a answer unless we can see the brush information.

it could be that the brush is just highly pixellated...or your comp doesnt have enough RAM to run photoshop to its max....or your screen is small....

could be many things.

Seams your computer isn't using enough colors to make the gradient smooth. Either your system/screen isnt set to show truecolor/millions of colors or the color display settings in PS is set to something other then monitor RGB or you have "proof color" checked under the "view" menu and some odd setting assigned to it under "view<proof setup".

Also as killalopez said it could be a memory issue or gfx issue where all colors simply aren't shown in the application to run it smoothly.
