Not sure where else to post this, so I may as well post it here.
PREFACE: Anything that can be skipped should have no bearing on the actual request made in this post.

I host the website for my gaming clan (RoR) and, after my website expired, I decided that the use of the website needed to change somewhat. This is because I have tried several different options, forums (phpbb, invision, and SMF), CMS's (Xoops, Drupal, nuke, etc.), and none of them felt right. It's hard to explain, but while something may work, it may not work in the way you intended it to work, for example.

What I'm looking for is something that my clan can use almost like a global portal; We can upload links, files, talk with each other, link our Teamspeak server to it, etc, etc, basically any clan activity (uploading would need to be regulated, of course). And, on top of this, it needs to be low maintenance, so that I can (as the admin) only use my "god" powers once in a while, instead of every day to fix something that isn't working right (this also includes setting up). And, if this "Holy Grail" requires skins to use, either make it simple to create said skins, or have a big enough skin repository that I can just pick one and use it (if you must know, it would have to be a dark, clean looking skin, as the first R in the clan tag stands for "Rogues").

This may sound like I want something akin to impossible, and that I'm too lazy to code something like this for myself, but I have my reasons for it, and I'm appealing to the forum base here because I have it on my own experience that there will be at least one person who can, if not help, point me in the general direction of someone/thing who can.

I may as well say this, as I'd hate to think that people think me as a lazy person who can't do anything for himself (or next to nothing.

First, I have the ability to code, but I'm only beginning to learn. And, while I admit that Later on, this may be a project to undertake, Right now I don't have near enough knowledge to code something this big. (that, and neatness in code isn't that friendly right now for me :/ )

Second, As I stated in the first reason, I need time to learn the languages. And time is not something I have a profuse amount of. And, linked to this, is that I need to have something working soon, if not sooner.


Last thing I will say, if you read everything I posted, and you are saying "This guy is pathetic, he has to post these random reasons why he can't do something, and hopes we help him, etc" Please note this: I specifically stated that You didn't need to read it, and that the basic request didn't change if you didn't. And, If it makes you feel any better, It took me at least triple the time to write this up that it did for you to read it .
